ICERP 2024
International Conference on Educational Research and Practice (ICERP)
Faculty of Educational Studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia is the host of ICERP since 2009. As one of the entities that contributed to the body of knowledge in field of education and human resource development in Malaysia, the Faculty of Educational Studies initiated the initiative to host ICERP with the aim of enhancing the academic network and promoting discourse in this field.
To date, UPM is the only university that organises ICERP in Malaysia.
The organisation of ICERP in 2017 and 2019 have successfully gathered more than 300 participants from within and outside the country and received favourable responses from various parties in the fields of education and human resources. However, the organisation of ICERP in 2021 was postponed as the country and the world went through the COVID-19 pandemic until 2022.
Considering that ICERP is one of the flagship academic activities under Faculty of Educational Studies, at the start of 2023, the initiative to organise ICERP wants to be revived again. In addition, we are bringing new changes in the norms of hosting a conference post-pandemic. This year for the first time ever, we will be hosting ICERP2024 in hybrid mode, with aims to provide engaging experience of participating in intellectual discussions physically, while also offering presenters and participants the flexibility to attend the conference virtually. Through the theme, “SDGs in Action: Creating Impact Through Education and Practice,” the conference aims to explore how education can be a driving force in creating positive and sustainable impact in our communities and beyond, in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
